Digital Objects was an experiment in supporting digital artists by making their artworks collectible via ERC-721 tokens.

Digital Objects was an invite-only space for buying, selling, and showcasing blockchain-secured, limited-edition digital works of art. Their mission was to empower artists and inspire the next generation of collectors.

While a small community formed around this new kind of collecting, the Digital Objects team learned that it would likely take years to gain enough adoption to support a company.

The team is sad to put things on hold — they still believe in the concept, and hope to get involved again in the future. By Alex Benzer.
